SECOND DAY OF CAMP
06 July 21
There was already excitement in the air about playing outside in water. Once we were outside there were two pools. A still pool and a wavy pool. The outdoor fan worked really well at keeping the bugs away.
We played another statue game while in the water!
And then we played a character-building game, ALSO in the water.
This was tricky for some of us because we wanted to know our character going in. And, sometimes it's hard to hear other people's ideas about what they see.
Especially when it's not what we want them to see. But, we are working on it.
Most of us went inside for lunch. But, some of us stayed outside and played in the water for a little while longer while we ate our lunch.
One of the things we could have done better today would have been to drink more water. Some of us just kind of felt wiped out in the afternoon.
In the afternoon, we played more Zip Zap Zop and Sherlock. We also took direction in silly ways and then we worked to build our own Fairy Tale. This is how we began to learn stage directions. Most of us don't like the Fairy Tale genre though. We like Anime and Horror. So, today was a challenge in Drama Club but it was still fun.
Miss Carol and Miss Robin and Miss Paula, AND EVEN MORE AMAZING WOMEN, were there today and they gave us lemon Italian ice. Miss Deb and Miss Amy led the theatre portion of the day.
Tomorrow we are going to learn about stage directions and a little about the Elizabethan era that goes along with it.
We have another word search if you would like to play.

Sounds like a fun filled day even with the challenges some of the activities presented.
